Dr. Steve Bureau

DMD, M. DENT, FRCD(C), DIP ABOMS

Dr. Bureau graduated from Laval University dental school in 1992. After serving in The Canadian Armed Forces and a rotation in the Balkans in 1995, he decided to leave the Armed Forces and enroll in the Oral and Maxillofacial residency program at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. He then decided to pursue further training in Orthognathic Surgery (jaw surgery) at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he graduated in 2001.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He has been practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Calgary since 2001. Dr. Bureau volunteered in Kandahar, Afghanistan in the summer of 2007, and has been actively volunteering in the Middle-East, and Guatemala with Dentistry for All for the past few years.

Dr. Bureau is married with 2 sons and enjoys the outdoors, skiing and travelling.

Lesley King is a Registered Psychologist and the founder of Aura Psychology. With a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, she specializes in helping people overcome anxiety, panic, and trauma — including fears tied to medical and dental experiences.
